Industry Development
(MaHTAS) plays an important role in evaluating health innovations
requested by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation
(MOSTI). A total of 20 technical evaluation reports on health
innovations related to COVID-19 were produced and submitted to
MOSTI for further action.
MaHTAS involved in providing health technology technical input
to government agencies during this pandemic COVID-19 e.g. as
technical committee to develop SIRIM standard for face shield
and non medical face mask.
MaHTAS also provide consultation to industries in terms of
developing health innovation, device or health technology related
to COVID-19
MaHTAS reviewers in meeting to discuss on rapid evidence review related to COVID-19
