Corporate social responsibility
The coming together of various organisations
and NGOs allowed us to fight the pandemic
more effectively. While the Medical Programme
continues to receive offers, it is crucial that the
Ministry manages these gifts accordingly while
being transparent. Resources received through
donations were distributed based on needs in
accordance with the proper procedures. For
example, private hospitals through the APHM
loaned 73-unit ventilators at no cost to MOH,
to help overcome the shortage of ventilators
during the second wave. Additionally, the King
Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre
contributed ventilators and other medical
supply including PPE. To assist with logistics
arrangement, Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn. Bhd
contributed to storing and distributing theses
equipment and medical supplies such as PPE
received through donation at no cost.
