Section (MaHTAS) role in Laboratory support

and supply during pandemic COVID-19

Malaysian Health Technology Assessment Section (MaHTAS)
played its role in combating COVID-19 by providing input to
support evidence based decision making. MahTAS received high
number of various requests on health technology assessment
related to COVID 19. In regards to laboratory support and supply,
MaHTAS has produced two reports on laboratory investigation
issues related to COVID-19, integrating best available research
evidence to assess its effectiveness, safety and cost effectiveness.

The reports were readily available at official MOH website for
COVID -19 (http://covid-19.moh.gov.my/kajian-dan-penyelidikan/
mahtas-covid-19-rapid-evidence-updates) and infographic
available at MaHTAS Facebook page.
