Healthcare Marvel
Malaysia’s early success in managing the pandemic were
highly commended by international bodies, including the
World Health Organization and being ranked the second most
successful country out of 49 in the fight against COVID-19,

Japanese think-tank.
Continually Striving for Excellence
Over and above these global recognitions, amidst the ongoing
pandemic, Malaysia reclaimed the coveted ‘Destination of the
Year’ and ‘Cluster of the Year’ titles, each for the fourth time at
the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) Medical Travel
Awards 2020 in London and was listed as a Finalist for the
‘Outstanding Response to COVID’ award.
These recognitions have further solidified Malaysia’s position
as the World’s Healthcare Marvel. Armed with the confidence
in our capacity to uphold the safety of the nation and incoming
